Rourkela (Odisha) [India], August 1: Odisha is celebrating a proud cultural victory as Rourkela’s Manasi Dasmohapatra clinched the coveted “Mrs. Magnificent” title at the Mrs. India International Queen 2025 pageant held in New Delhi. Among 85 accomplished contestants from across the Globe and diverse cultural backgrounds, Manasi stood out for her exceptional blend of artistry, grace, intellect, and purpose.
A trained classical singer and Odissi dancer, Manasi represented Odisha’s rich heritage with poise and passion. Her performances during the competition not only showcased her technical skill but also conveyed deep cultural meaning—making her a standout in a competition that celebrates beauty with substance.
“Being part of this journey was transformative,” Manasi said in an emotional post-win speech. “Thank you, Mrs. India International Queen 2025, for giving me a platform to showcase my talent, share my thoughts, and represent the timeless culture of Odisha. This platform has shown me a new path forward.”
Throughout the multi-day event, contestants participated in several rounds, including personal interviews, talent showcases, and presentations focused on social causes. Manasi’s classical music and dance routines captivated the judges and audience alike, earning her admiration for her authenticity and poise.
The title of Mrs. Magnificent is awarded to the contestant who best embodies elegance, inner strength, and a strong sense of social and cultural identity—values that Manasi brought to life through both her performance and presence.
A long-time practitioner of Indian classical arts, Manasi has spent years mastering Odissi, one of India’s oldest and most expressive dance forms. She has performed extensively across Odisha and believes her mission now is to take this cultural legacy to a national and global stage.
“Odisha is a treasure trove of music, dance, and traditional art,” she said. “As a classical singer and dancer, I feel it is my responsibility to serve as a cultural ambassador—not only for my state but for India as a whole. This title is just the beginning.”
Manasi’s win is more than a personal triumph; it is also a symbol of empowerment. As a married woman and mother, she emphasizes that dreams should not be limited by age or social expectations.
“To every woman who feels like time has passed them by—believe in yourself. Step out of your comfort zone. Chase your dreams,” she said. “I dedicate this victory to all the women who continue to strive despite the odds.”
She also credited her family, especially her husband, for being her support system throughout this journey. “My husband has been my backbone. His encouragement gave me the strength to take this leap of faith,” she said with heartfelt gratitude.
The Mrs. India International Queen pageant is one of India’s most prestigious platforms for married women. Participants include doctors, entrepreneurs, artists, educators, and homemakers—women from all walks of life brought together by their drive to make a difference.
Now back in Rourkela, Manasi is already laying the groundwork for her next mission. She is collaborating with local cultural organizations to organize classical music and dance workshops, stage performances, and youth engagement programs to keep traditional arts alive among younger generations.
Her vision is to serve as a bridge between tradition and modernity—reviving cultural roots while inspiring women to embrace their identities and step confidently into their futures.
As Manasi Dasmohapatra steps into this new chapter, she carries not just a crown, but a deep commitment to elevating India’s cultural narrative—one stage, one story, and one dance at a time.
