Napplied Is Building the Infrastructure Layer for Hiring — Not Another Tool in the Stack

Hiring Workflow Intelligence for employers. Persona Intelligence for job seekers. Built by people who’ve built this category before.

New Delhi [India], September 3: Recruiting has become an arms race neither side is winning. Job seekers use AI to apply faster; employers use AI to screen faster and filter most of it back out. The paradox is measurable — among companies already using AI in hiring, 82 percent apply it to résumé screening, while 62 percent say they now reject résumés that read as generic, unpersonalized AI output. Greenhouse’s CEO calls the result a “doom loop”: both sides using AI against each other, making hiring worse for everyone at once. Trust runs in opposite directions on each side — Gartner found only 26 percent of applicants trust AI to evaluate them fairly, even as Greenhouse’s own research found 70 percent of hiring managers trust it to decide faster and better.

It bites hardest in the roles companies can least afford to get wrong. The global cybersecurity workforce gap hit 4.8 million in 2026 (ISC2), a shortfall the World Economic Forum says needs an 87 percent workforce increase to close. On the AI side, LinkedIn’s 2026 Jobs on the Rise report ranks AI Engineer the fastest-growing U.S. job title, postings up 143 percent year-over-year — demand no keyword search or generic ATS was ever built to match.

Every hiring tool today sharpens one side of the fight — a smarter filter for employers, a better-written résumé for candidates — which is exactly why the arms race never ends. Napplied’s bet is different: replace the adversarial signal both sides are gaming with one shared, verified one. Persona Intelligence gives every candidate a profile built and verified once, scored against a real skills ontology, that travels with them across every search — no reason to keep rewriting a résumé to beat a filter that resets each time. Hiring Workflow Intelligence runs employer search, screening, and structured AI interviews against that same verified signal, so screening gets sharper without candidates needing to get sneakier. One explainable layer, both sides, paid for like any technology upgrade — by usage, not headcount or a success fee.

It’s built by people who’ve already built this category once. Md Mahabub Alam spent over a decade building software and automation end to end, including five-plus years building talent and sales intelligence automation from the engineering side. His team carries the other half — sixteen-plus years combined in sales and customer success for the same kind of data-driven products, at top technology startups.

“Every hire in AI and cybersecurity is now a coin flip between real depth and a well-written résumé,” said Md Mahabub Alam, founder and CEO of Napplied AI. “I watched that failure mode for years building talent and sales data automation. This is the layer that was missing.”

Napplied calls it a frontier bet, not a finished category — infrastructure a company plugs into, the way compute or payments did before it.
