New Delhi [India], April 08: The 7th edition of the Aravali International Film Festival (AIFF), held on April 4th and 5th, 2026 at Alliance Française de Delhi, concluded on a high note, showcasing 26 international films and bringing together a dynamic community of filmmakers and audiences.
The festival saw over 1,000 attendees and 20+ media professionals, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere across both days.
Highlights & Special Guests
A standout moment was the presence of Anushka Kaushik (The Mushrooms, Crash Course, Ghar Waapsi), who attended in person to receive the Best Acting Award. Actor Chandan Roy (Panchayat) and several other notable guests also attended, adding to the festival’s energy.

Houseful Masterclasses
Both masterclasses held on April 4th were completely full:
Hindi Film Music: A Different Perspective Through History by Aniruddha Sharma explored the evolution of Hindi film music and its cultural influences.
Realistic Acting Workshop by Niharika Singh focused on truthful performance and immersive acting techniques.
Awards & Recognition
The festival concluded with an awards ceremony celebrating cinematic excellence.
GAIA won Best Film, while Antar (Distance) received Best Direction.
Built on Hope was awarded Best Documentary, and Dheemi Aanch (The Weight of Silence) won Best Screenplay.
Nightwoman took home Best Horror/Thriller, with several winners present to receive their awards in person.
